Léon de La Moule, the cartoon character who incorporates typical Belgian humour.

Belgium is the country of the comic strip. Tintin, the Smurfs, Gaston Lagaffe, the Marsupilami, Spirou, Tif and Tondu, Bob and Bobette [Suske and Wiske], Boule and Bill and many others. They act as standard bearers. Following in the tradition of the comic strip balloon, Chez Léon asked Louvel, a young graphic designer, to create "Léon de la Moule" [Leon the Mussel], a tiny cartoon character full of humour in the shape of a mussel.
With his chef's hat and white apron, he dodges in and out and turns up everywhere including on menus like on the pages of this website.
This is the real Léon mascot and can already boast of an international career. He can be found on 20 square meter posters, comic strips and on pins and badges.
